Between Monster Hunter World, Resident Evil 2 and 7 and Devil May Cry 5, and with Resident Evil 3 looking to deliver too, we're in the middle of a Capcom golden age that nobody could've seen coming five years ago. It is the sixth installment overall and the fifth mainline installment in the Devil May Cry series. Devil May Cry 5 a is a 2019 action-adventure game developed and published by Capcom. Back at GDC, we learned that Devil May Cry 5 had sold over two million copies worldwide just two weeks after release. Capcom Infinite-that's currently at #60 with 1.4 million. Still, Street Fighter 5 is still in the top 15. If you combine the various editions of Street Fighter 4, it also continues to outsell its successor. Street Fighter 5's 4.1 million sales has only just outsold the original SNES release of Street Fighter 2 Turbo. While Capcom did not directly state whether Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition numbers are included as part of the five million, total sales for Devil May Cry 5 across PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
As a reminder, the game already had 4.7 million copies sold last November.

Capcom does not go into details, but specifies that the sales of the Special Edition on PS5 and Xbox Series XS are included in this big number. The only major black mark on Capcom's renaissance right now is its fighting game division. Devil May Cry 5 thus has 5 million copies sold. It's by no means Capcom's best-selling series, but having the latest game do well both critically and commercially has to mean we'll be seeing more Dante soon, right? You should first complete the game so you can have much more health. This achievement/trophy can be earned by defeating Urizen in the Prologue.
